"every company must own its intelligence" is a stronger line than the number, and the number is $1.5b. congrats lin
sent you a dm too, probably in your message requests since we're not connected yet
I really like this take on companies must known their Intelligence just as IP. But its still unimaginable to think of every company to have the muscle and skill set to adapt, own and evolve intelligence in today’s state, unless owning intelligence gets lowered to the floor like owning database or other fundamental infrastructure.
Really looking forward!
“Every company must own its intelligence” is the right sentence.
I’m building the operator version of that bet — not only enterprise inference, but a desk on metal you own so the principal isn’t renting cognition forever.
Congrats Lin, huge milestone. "Specialised intelligence is the moat" is exactly what we see in legal. A generic model can explain a contract. A system shaped by how your business actually negotiates, its standards, redlines and past deals, is what gets trusted to do the work.
The line that stands out to me is general intelligence will be abundant, specialized intelligence will be the moat. Feels like the real endgame is not who has the biggest model, it is who owns the fine tuning loop on real usage data.
