Abdul El-Sayed is currently saying that his name "Abdul" means servant and that's why his parents chose it. That's funny because when Abdul was running for Governor in 2018 he claimed numerous times that his parents named him Abdul after Paula Abdul.

It seems more likely he changed his name because his first name was chosen specifically by his parents and means a servant of the most high, Allah.
