Met Will Ferrell today in remote corner of #Iceland - had a wee chat. He’s lovely, friendly and most definitely the kind of person you could have a good giggle with. We shared a funny Eurovision moment - females churning butter for those who remember!!!

My kids would basically be drinking water and eating air
I have blanked out the name of the pre-school here to try and avoid a massive pile on, but I’d be interested to know what you think about their updated lunchbox guidelines and the bits of paper they are sending home for ‘contraventions’ of the rules. Is it really Ofsted pressuring EYFS settings to ban white bread as the doughy texture after chewing can be a choking hazard as well as the rule about cutting raisins in half, amongst other requests mentioned. To be honest, this would drive me a bit potty if I had still had kids at that age.

Night Sky on Mars as seen from NASA Curiosity Rover.
Community note
The video does not show authentic imagery from NASA's Curiosity rover. Rover Mastcam images capture planets as isolated points of light in twilight skies, unlike the dense starfield with diffraction spikes and nebulae shown. science.nasa.gov/photojournal/b… science.nasa.gov/resource/curio… x.com/NASAJPL/status

Jamie’s 20 Minute Meals on telly now. Watching him cut onions & garlic in 90 seconds in a way that will take me 20 mins alone Lynn’s 40 Minute Meals doesn’t have the same ring to it

Horrible time at #qeuglasgow on Tuesday night. 15.5 hour wait to be seen. At one point I went into the loos to cry out of exhaustion rather than pain. Staff kept apologising but it’s not their fault.

heading off for some major surgery next week. Trying to remain calm. At the pre-op appointment today, I felt I was being drained of blood for many vials but the HCSW was very kind and good at finding veins.
