Said goodbye to @theborderline tonight, by watching @Pearljammband play an epic 3+ hour set (inc. the ‘92 setlist that the original band played at the venue). Top night, but so sad to see yet another central London venue disappear.

Had a nostalgic walk around the area before the gig. So many places now gone... The original Marquee, in Wardour Street. Now a restaurant.

The Charing Cross Road version of the Marquee. Now a pub.

The Astoria. Now a rail-related building site. (This is the view from Sutton Row, where anyone that went there would have queued.)

The Intrepid Fox pub. Now a Byron.

Michael would be keen to hear your thoughts on Borderline closing and challenges facing London venues for a story for onlondon.co.uk - can I DM/email you?

Denmark Guitar street a shadow of what it was as well. Will always be my favourite area of London though.
