Macro is now officially integrated with Claude and available in the Claude plugin directory.
We've had our MCP for a few months, but before launching in the Claude marketplace, we wanted to extend our MCP coverage to most of our API surface.
You can now do most things through AI that you can do in the Macro interface. Many users have told us they primarily use Macro headless.
There are still a few things and settings unavailable in the MCP that need to be done in the interface but our goal is to have 100% coverage soon.

Using the "Unified Search" and "Activity Log" and "List"-related tools, Claude can...
- Pull your recently opened entities. Workspace activity (email, tasks, channels, etc.) is crucial so that Claude can disambiguate requests like "what did we decide about ___?". Without a chronological record of opens and edits, Claude has to piece together things from Search, which is very hard and not something you'd expect a human to do! The Unified Activity Log is a key part of what makes Macro great for agents.
- Pull all your notifications across email, messages, tasks, @-mentions, etc., or just the unread ones. This is useful for cleaning out your inbox programmatically or prioritizing what you need to respond to.
- Search across everything with one tool call, e.g. find all mentions of "acme" across call transcripts, internal chats, sales emails, CRM.

Tasks. Individual or team-level tasks configurable with Claude to:
-Check or change the status of outstanding tasks.
-Create individually or in bulk.
-Assign to AI.
-Create PR's.
With Claude connected to Macro and GitHub, you can link tasks to branches and have them auto update when opening/closing PR's.

Messages. In channels or DMs you can via MCP:
-Respond from your terminal, @-mention team members, @-mention the Macro bot.
-Summarize or create channels.
-Rank messages based on priority.
*Note* Messages sent from the MCP will display in Macro from your bot and not from your account.

Email. With Multi Email Inbox, you can triage through all your email accounts and:
-Draft emails from different accounts in one place.
-Check for cross-calendar invite conflicts.
-Tag emails, mark as done, schedule sends like a regular email client.
-Share email(s) into a channel with permissions automatically added for members.
