He was there trying to score, of course, but yes, I remember this particular morsel of bullshit

It has that "tinny" quality that reveals a performance. Very few men would actually cite the Women's March as a reason for their revolutionary spirit in 2026. It's what he thought people wanted to hear.

It doesn't make any sense temporally. Also, I've been to No Kings. Those are my people. He hates my people, lol. No way he went to those protests and wasn't internally snarking.

"went down for the Women's March" suggests he was living in Maine at the time. 2017 was the year after Platner dropped out of GWU where there was no record of what he was doing. Same year, his dad bought him a house in Maine. The following year he signed on for Constellis.

I'm sure they were both inspired by the Women's March leaders disinviting all the major Jewish orgs because "genocide" in 2017

I didn’t coin the term but “The Platner Left” has been behaving this way unchallenged for years. I think it’s time we do something
This is the same guy that said we need to consider the “glute massage” text Platner received before raping someone. This paints a pattern of the Platner left as seeing the rules of the world as bendable to suit their political ends, just like maga.

To be fair, he could have meant “fight back against women”

I remember that (Palestinian activist) Linda Sarsour hijacked the Women's March, and killed what might have become a formidable movement. Fuck her forever.

I remember him standing there with Planned Parenthood talking about the importance of “Wade.”

“Inspired” in a way nobody wants to hear or know about, maybe.

Why on earth would you doubt that he was inspired by the women's march? The party needs fewer people like you.

Also, there's stuff of Piker going to the last big No Kings march in LA, and doing the most performative shit possible to get likes and content. He was literally more worried his hair would get messed up than the safety of people attending the march.
