The rules are moving faster than most blockchain stacks were built for.
In the EU, DORA now holds financial entities accountable for ICT third-party and concentration risk, while MiCA brings crypto-asset service providers under formal supervision. Together they push teams operating on-chain toward higher standards for reliability and security, and toward records that don't hinge on any single provider.
Meanwhile institutions have crossed a line: they're no longer evaluating digital assets, they're running real assets on-chain at scale. At that point, downtime and bad data become security events with direct financial consequences.
