Vaults are becoming a core layer of the financial stack, but not all vaults are created equal.
Makina's vaults combine strategy flexibility and execution efficiency with explicit depositor protections:
▪ Vault risk managers define permitted actions and risk parameters.
▪ Vault operators can only execute actions within a pre-approved set of Instructions.
▪ Instruction-set updates are timelocked and subject to Security Council and Root Guardian vetoes.
▪ Separate execution, risk management and oversight roles limit any single actor’s authority.
Alongside custody models and permissions, transparency into a vault’s operations, accounting methodology and risk profile is essential.
Makina makes allocations, risk parameters and instruction-set updates easy to inspect, with underlying onchain data available for independent verification.
