ALT RASMUSSEN REPORTS Just 35% Favor Year-Round Daylight Savings Time Tuesday, August 04, 2026 The push to make Daylight Savings Time (DST) all year long is not popular with Americans, and more would rather do away with it altogether. The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 35% of American Adults think it would be better to have Daylight Savings Time all year long, while 41% believe it would be better to eliminate DST completely and just have regular time all year long. Twenty-four percent (24%) are not sure. The survey of 1,263 American Adults was conducted on July 20-22, 2026 by Rasmussen Reports.
