Fun fact - right next to it is a mercury switch. Yours is dormant. But soon it will come on line. It's only purpose is to detect that you've sat down on a couch or recliner after dinner and trigger Deep Sleep.
Sadly, it's secondary role prevents REM sleep when in bed.
