Really strange decision when older work is censored. Essentially saying we do not trust an audience to have the intelligence to judge for themselves.

It’s also drawing attention to the fact they did blackface which most won’t have realised.Anyone who only criticised David Baddiel for this will be feeling awks now.

If you attach stigma to satirising bad things and dodgy thought processes then it absolutely isn’t the win that some seem to think it is

Not that strange though, the iplayer viewing public in watch Mrs Brown's Boys in large numbers, so I wouldn't trust them to have intelligence either

It’s beautiful. they will never make a good show again. no writer or actor will want to touch them. plays perfectly into Netflix hands. good bye and good riddance the beeb. 👋🏻

They’re probably right on the latter point. A few weeks ago on here there was a clip of Gen Zs reacting to the racist woman from Little Britain. Despite the sketch mocking the racist, these university students thought it was mocking the Indian woman (who is smart & savvy).

The sort of people who make these decisions are also the type that are currently haranguing Ed Sheeran about his choice of words.

No one asked for this. No one who cares about real issues cares. It’s a distraction tactic to make those people look ridiculous.

They were actually satirising racism. That’s the absurdity. Audiences being treated like imbeciles.

You get the impression that anyone watching it will have been deliberately looking for it. Unless it's by request of the actor creators then it just seems silly.

Having seen you people judging little Britain, they don't have the intelligence. Sorry but this will be repeated because the audience is more retarded.

If the scetches work tomorrow, they will be moved back.

Is there a job just watching old shows to remove stuff, if so many people would jump at the chance

Indeed, they do not.

The BBC has to protect itself. Don't blame the beeb for this.
