I turned 29 today and safe to say the past 2 years have been the best of my life. 2 years ago I remember celebrating my birthday with the Guild in Santa Monica during Nerub-ar Palace after riding the high of killing Nexus Princess Kyveza. In these 2 years I became the Co-GM of the Guild, I've won 5 race to world firsts in a row, seen my closest friends win BlizzCon MDI, I worked on myself and lost 60lbs, I redecorated my apartment to finally display all my statues and swords, I led negotiations for a great new 5 year deal between Team Liquid and the Guild and met so many new friends along the way. I love my entire guild and have them all to thank for getting me through these years but I'd like to specifically thank @Boomiexd for not only being my closest friend but for picking up so many tasks that I couldn't cope with at the height of prep and negotiating. It's not a coincidence he joined at the start of the Liquid dynasty. One of my favourite parts of my position is bragging about how good my players are and at BlizzCon I had the privilege of sitting with Boomie’s wonderful girlfriend and family to watch him win MDI, all while getting to tell them just how impactful he has been to the team's success and how he's grown into an impactful leader in the Guild. A lot of people asked me at BlizzCon how we overcame the “despair” of waking up to an almost certain loss and somehow won. For this I’ll refer to Tolkien’s words: “It is not despair, for despair is only for those who see the end beyond all doubt. We do not. It is wisdom to recognize necessity, when all other courses have been weighed, though as folly it may appear to those who cling to false hope. Well, let folly be our cloak, a veil before the eyes of the Enemy!“ Cheers to another 5 years #LetsGoLiquid

This is what I’ve been saying, as few changes as possible and make it like the core game as much as we can. Any change closer to retail is a mistake. We want to FEEL the friction. You should WANT to wait in line. Let the skill shine #skill

was thinking about playing classic forever but as a lot of you know i'm pretty strictly no changes and after some of my own research there is a fair amount of stuff different.

Another hot take I have is that listening to the Community is a trap a lot of the times. All of the greatest pieces of ip in gaming that we have experienced was just someone making a game they thought was awesome. I think if you become married to the idea that you just have to cherry pick all of these ideas your Community has come up with you’re fighting a losing battle because the community isn’t all in agreement on what they want

It also seems like it is struggling a bit from something retail has dealt with for years. Too many different factions of people that all want something a little different out of the game. Because of this, it’s hard for them to make a game truly great for anyone because they have to make everyone happy.

Personally I also do my own research, but I doubt that happened. Coiled alter was probably a 1/1 thing and was very tilting to deal with for us as well.

Have you not been implying the bug wasn't happening on NA servers or something? I didn't say it wiped us, but very clearly based on what was happening to you that this was occurring.

Lilpadawan and newtree got the ingested venom debuff after volatile purge consumed it from others which would have caused them to get the spread debuff on the next set.

I 100% respect the crashout and blizz raid quality this tier was all time bad but we had the bug as well.
