AI hasn't "solved" anything. Yes your legal arguments are better than before. Yes your web designs are better than before. But so are theirs. Or... are we sure yours even are? Are theirs? There's a simultaneous weird competition for whose content, website, arguments, products are less tinged by AI. Less fabricated. Less slop. Can you still make a coherent deck or memo? Does your demo do anything real? Does your AI product work better than the "deterministic" version from before? do people prefer it? Did AI really help with any of this? Do you know how your product works? Do you know the argument you're presenting? Is it good? Do you know the meaning of the stats you just pulled? I think we'll get there, but much of what's happened so far is a backslide.

I have questions on AI reviews: Are you: PRing into your own branches when you are the only developer, then requesting reviews on the PRs? Having AI review your entire codebase? Specific areas of interest, or a "review the entire codebase" prompt?

As a result of our global adoption of AI, bad actors who use fear and manipulation to exploit us for financial gain will be more identifiable than in any time in history. There'll still be class-based societies (that's just humanity), but one's distinction and elevation within those societies will be a function of benevolence, and will not happen by accident. This isn't an advocation for a post-scarcity world. I'm just a guy who rides bikes a lot.

As a writer, I’m worried about false flags for AI generation.
