Despite her anatomically small and cartoonishly designed head, the Epona model in Ocarina Remake is so satisfying to look at as someone who loves horses in video games. The fur texture and jiggly muscles work very well. Best horse in video games has never looked better.
My biggest complaint about the Ocarina of Time remake is the game renaming it "Zora Domain" rather than "Zora's" as it has been in every other game including this one up until now.
I turn 40 in 5 days. This has been hard to wrap my head around. I am so grateful the Zelda franchise has been with me my entire life. I first played Ocarina when I was like 12 and fell so in love with it. I'd replay it, ride around on Epona just because I was bored, visit forums
Seeing this game get a sudden rush of attention, get memed on, seeing the reactions from people who have never played a linear Zelda game before... I was running around Lon Lon Ranch and it all kinda hit me and I had a little cry. I've seen video games go from 8 colors to this.
It's just such a pleasant and emotional coincidence that this game from my childhood that has always been a favorite of mine is celebrating its 40th and helping me mentally process mine.
And, yes, my first Zelda was the very first Zelda. My mom loved the NES.
Seeing the feedback from people who have only played Breath of the Wild or Tears of the Kingdom respond positively to Ocarina of Time both warms my heart and pains my aging back.
One of the most karmic things Trump ever said was "Vote like I'm on the ballot." That quote's going to define his presidency to exhibit just how hated he became. And it must really hurt his ego. All his life he was obssessed with numbers and he will die knowing he failed. Perfect
It's almost my birthday. And I get to play Zelda. And I get to hang out with my family. And I get to hang out with my friends. And I have (almost) the next 6 days off of work. And the weather is nice. And I get paid tomorrow. And I can't wait to be cozy and play Zelda on my bday.
You made us vote for abortion rights three times. You took away sick leave rights. That's why we don't want you reversing our votes anymore. Democracy works.
the mandatory sex change surgeries begin TONIGHT. all republican voters, please report to your local abortion clinic voluntarily or a bisexual MS-13 member will be sent to your home. somehow, pansexual orgies and shariah law are simultaneously in effect as of this moment
Why is there a subset of terminally online people whose entire personality is pretending they ragebaited and/or made strangers mad? It's like 4chan but immensely cringier.
I went to college for graphic design. It taught me many good things. I did not need a degree for the career that I have in art/design.
Everyone's situation is different. What works for some may not work for others, and that's okay.
There are a million resources for learning art and design online, through a community, through a mentor that are all either free or less expensive than college.
In today's volatile climate towards creative careers, any path to success should be celebrated (unless you cheated.)
The biggest bozos in the world are blaming a woman for crashing a plane. I have a lowkey interest in aviation and watch a lot of plane crash videos.
Men crash most planes. 99% of plane crashes are either caused by weather or poor maintenance to the aircraft (or both). Not pilots
