Legal debate has featured claims about what to blame for an inactive Congress.
Eg, a couple years ago: Chevron deference is to blame, so overrule it. Or more recently, judicial review is to blame, so abandon that.
A null hypothesis: politics is to blame. (And the solution.)

A House Ethics complaint alleges Lauren Boebert had sexual relationships with three supervised staffers, violating the post-2018 House rule that bars members from sleeping with their own employees.
It names former District Director Clarice Navarro Ratzlaff (2021–2025), current District Chief of Staff Raven Finegan, and former Chief of Staff Jeffrey Small.
The most detailed claims involve Navarro: encounters in the district office, a reimbursed vehicle, and campaign-paid hotel rooms; taxpayer-funded bonuses; a $5,000 campaign payment listed as “consulting”; and an alleged ~$200K payment in March 2025 after she left and threatened to file.
