Hadn’t considered how much of a Founder Napoleon was.
People don't understand Napoleon's insane work ethic. Napoleon had secretaries rotating shifts so that he could wake up in the middle of the night and start dictating. Napoleon would sleep 3-4 hours on campaign in 15-30 minute segments so he could always be giving orders. Napoleon would read for 12hrs+ on abstruse subjects in a single day. Napoleon would position cannons himself when he saw soldiers not manning them. You think you're working hard enough but you're not. When you study the greats of history you realize the true level of output that it takes to be known by posterity.

For consideration.
Mind-Blowing Reality: 81% of Americans COVID-19 vaccinated, 94% of whom have synthetic mRNA in their bodies producing the potentially lethal Spike protein. Unless the library of anti-Spike antibodies is perfectly neutralizing, Spike will cause tissue damage and result in chronic illness. Unnatural, unsafe. There is, perhaps, a bit of lying between a board hired CEO and the board. The board isn’t really transparent on the current state of the business. And the McKinsey / Country Club CEO says fancy words but doesn’t have the vision to set the course or the execution chops or deliver. Easier to stick with Founders. @FounderETFs @LaurensFounders
Never confuse someone who can explain a business with someone who can run one. Starbucks’ former CEO spent 19 years at McKinsey and just 3 years running a company. When he stepped in, the stock went from $114 billion to $72B in just 17 months. The best business school is being in business.

Looking forward to reading @MaryBowdenMD book. First principles thinking is less common in medicine than you think. And it might just save your life.
Today I got to see the patient who gave me the courage to treat even the most severe Covid patients as an outpatient. He walked in with an oxygen saturation of 62% and refused to go to the hospital. Even after 8 days, his oxygen saturation was only 83% on room air. I treated him with high dose ivermectin, steroids, spironolactone, high dose IV vitamin C, azithromycin, fluvoxamine, glutathione, and home oxygen. Slowly but surely he stayed out of the hospital and survived. He is one of the stars in my book.

This all checks out!

1. We will keep accelerating. Our AI efforts are only 3 years old, vs 6 and 10 years old for Anthropic and OpenAI. If our second derivative remains strong, SpaceX will reach pole position in about 6 months. 2. Once you far exceed the caliber of intelligence needed for a class of tasks, additional intelligence is pointless. You don’t need (and it would be cruel to put) Newton-level intelligence in your toaster! 3. Hardware is hard. Bringing massive compute online rapidly is incredibly difficult. SpaceX has demonstrated exceptional ability in this regard and will only get better.

Founders founding more.
20 years ago, I was here in New York, pitching a small startup from Europe. This week, I'm back here, once again in pitch mode, talking to friends old and new about democratizing preventive health with @Neko. I've always been obsessed with building the most amazing product possible. And with Neko, the end goal is to truly change consumer behaviour. We want as many people as possible to have access to quality preventive healthcare - not for the 1%, but for the 99%. Thank you to my co-founder Hjalmar (@HNilsonne) and to the amazing team that made our first New York clinic opening possible today.

I work for our investors: people like my mom, who lived on her savings, and new parents investing for their kids' college or to start a business. Our discipline is for them. @tomkeene @ptsweeney
“Brutal” to sell when a Founder leaves? That’s our discipline at @FounderETFs How do Founders enter and exit our ETF? → Viking ($VIK) Founder Torstein Hagen announced plans to step down as CEO. We sold a week later. → SpaceX ($SPCX) IPO’d within our pre-set price range. We bought a 1% position. We buy and sell with discipline. Michael Monaghan joins Tom Keene and Paul Sweeney on Bloomberg Surveillance to talk constructive markets and the Founders leading innovation: → Meta ($META) Muse and moat → Anthropic’s proposed IPO and regulatory capture → Viking Therapeutics ($VKTX) preferred weight-loss drugs Founders move fast. What could turn a GREAT market into an EXTRAORDINARY one? Peace → Lower oil prices → Cooling inflation → Warsh rate cuts → AI acceleration Michael Monaghan joined guest host Lauren Simonetti on Making Money with Charles Payne to talk about the powerful forces converging for US growth stocks: → AI is just beginning to drive productivity, job creation, and deflation → @AnthropicAI’s highly-anticipated Founder-Led Mega IPOs may debut in November → Founder Mark Zuckerberg’s ($META) Muse (#1 on the App Store) is off to a record start, with 1.8 million downloads (eclipsing 1.3 million for ChatGPT) in its first 12 days → Founder Dr. Brian Lian is developing preferred weight-loss treatments at Viking Therapeutics ($VKTX) with new data supporting monthly and every-other-week maintenance dosing and an oral formulation in development The fundamentals are already powerful. Falling energy prices, cooling inflation and lower interest rates could add fuel. Our Thesis: AI could be as transformative as electricity, and we’re still in the first inning. Founders aren’t waiting for the perfect macro environment. Speedy recovery!
Good morning, I hope everyone is doing well and ready to do even better. I had long-overdue hernia surgery on Monday. I'm doing fine and hope to be back in the saddle again real soon. Meanwhile, feeling great about all the handholding - if you paid attention, you should be making money - certainly, I hope you didn't panic. CP

When is a falling stock a buying opportunity—and when is there more pain ahead? The Wall Street Journal highlights our recent research, “Should You Implement a Stop-Loss Program?”, in its article “How to Tell Whether a Plunging Stock Will Keep Plunging.” Our analysis finds that the size of a decline is only part of the story. How quickly it happens, how the stock performs relative to its industry, and what triggered the selloff all matter. The evidence also differs meaningfully between growth and value stocks—challenging the case for a one-size-fits-all stop-loss rule. Read the WSJ article here: wsj.com/finance/stocks/how-t… If you're interested in the full note and our latest views on the equity market, please reach out at sales@trivariateresearch.com.
