All these AI alarmists today are giving me déjà vu. Jacob Coxon, the former Anthropic researcher who resigned after working there for just six weeks and is now sounding the alarm that AI could become an existential threat, is the latest example of this culture of panic. At this point, you can see the pattern, and you cannot help but question whether this is simply another chapter of the same old cabal and establishment system that thrives on keeping people afraid. We have seen this movie before. During COVID, CNN and other mainstream media outlets had death counts and case numbers constantly running across our screens, keeping people in a permanent state of fear. Anyone who questioned the dominant narrative, questioned particular treatments, or wanted to explore different approaches was attacked, condemned, and even called a danger to society. And while all of this was happening, pharmaceutical companies were making trillions in profits, while many of the same mainstream media outlets were financially benefiting from pharmaceutical advertising. Then came the climate alarmists, telling us that the world was supposedly on the verge of ending. One famous 1989 UN warning claimed that entire nations could be wiped out by rising sea levels by the year 2000. That deadline came and went. There have been other catastrophic predictions and deadlines since then, yet the cycle continues. NOW IT IS AI. AI will become superintelligent. AI will create biological weapons. AI will take over the world. AI will destroy humanity. THE TRUTH IS THAT WHATEVER AI BECOMES CAN ONLY HAPPEN BECAUSE HUMAN BEINGS MADE IT SO. God gave dominion over this earth to human beings. Whatever AI becomes, human beings created it, trained it, programmed it, deployed it, gave it access, or decided how it would be used. There is no artificial intelligence with some supernatural dominion over humanity that God did not give humanity itself. And we know who the father of lies is the devil so we need to watch who are making this claims. If AI is ever used to create biological weapons, humans are behind that decision. If AI is ever used to cause destruction, humans will be responsible for giving it the capability, access, instruction, or authority to do so. So why are we constantly being told to fear the creation instead of examining the human beings controlling the creation? Because FEAR IS POWERFUL. Fear creates attention. Fear creates money. Fear creates political power. Fear creates regulation. Fear creates dependence. Fear creates control. People want you to panic because when you panic, you do not have the opportunity to see the full picture. You react before you investigate. You surrender your judgment before you examine the evidence. You allow somebody else to make conclusions for you. That is why I believe we must always question whenever the media tells us to panic, especially when they are telling you to panic about what the Trump administration is doing because they might nit want you to see the positive impact it might have on the society. Look beyond the headlines. Examine the policies. Examine the consequences. Ask yourself why they want you to see everything through fear. Because I believe God has placed a moral instinct inside human beings. When we are calm enough to think, when we consider all the facts, when we listen to our conscience and align ourselves with what God has placed inside us, the agenda to confuse, manipulate, and ultimately destroy becomes much more difficult. THERE IS NOTHING POSITIVE ATTACHED TO PANIC. Think about someone who cannot swim and suddenly finds himself in the middle of the ocean. Once he begins to panic, he will thrash around, waste his strength, lose control of his breathing, and increase the possibility of drowning. The panic itself will become part of the danger. The same thing happens in a fire. The same thing happens in an emergency. The same thing happens in life.
PANIC CLOUDS YOUR JUDGMENT. PANIC DESTROYS YOUR ABILITY TO THINK CLEARLY. PANIC MAKES YOU EASIER TO CONTROL. And this is exactly why the Bible gives us a completely different narrative. When the disciples were in the storm with Jesus, the storm was real. The danger was real. The waves were real. But Jesus remained calm. He stood up and calmed the storm. The storm did not disappear because it was imaginary. The storm was real. But Jesus showed us that the existence of a storm does not mean you have to surrender yourself to panic. Refuse to live your life programmed by fear. LISTEN. INVESTIGATE. QUESTION. THINK. PRAY. Don’t panic because CNN tells you to panic. Don’t panic because climate alarmists gives you another deadline. Don’t panic because an AI researcher tells you humanity is going to be destroyed. THE STORM MAY BE REAL, BUT PANIC IS NEVER THE ANSWER. God gave humanity dominion. God gave humanity intelligence. God gave humanity discernment. God gave humanity responsibility. And God gave us a sound mind.
“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” 2 Timothy 1:7
So when they tell you to panic, CALM DOWN.
When they tell you the world is ending, THINK.
When they tell you what conclusion you must reach, QUESTION IT.
When they flood you with fear, SEEK THE TRUTH FOR YOURSELF.
Align yourself with God. Align yourself with your conscience. Remain calm enough to see clearly.
Because just like someone drowning in the middle of the ocean, the more you panic, the faster you can lose the very strength you need to survive.
THE STORM IS REAL. BUT SO IS YOUR ABILITY TO REMAIN CALM, THINK, DISCERN, AND SOAR ABOVE IT.
CALM DOWN. THINK FOR YOURSELF. SEEK THE TRUTH. AND NEVER SURRENDER YOUR MIND TO FEAR.
