I’m about to go to sleep, but I just had to come onto X and say that I am beyond words with joy over blessed Archbishop Fulton Sheen’s beatification yesterday. I didn’t hear about him until later in my journey toward the Catholic Church, but even in his earthly life, he had such a gift for moving both the heart and the mind— inspiring people to desire to grow closer to God and become more virtuous. And somehow, that witness has echoed across the years to people who were never even alive during his time. I most definitely will be asking him to pray for me in my own pursuit of sainthood. God is so great.

I really need to learn to listen to God. I was doing laundry last night when I had this thought that my rosary was in one of my pockets, but I brushed it off because I thought I was just being paranoid. Turns out, my rosary was in the laundry. Thankfully, it wasn’t broken—and it’s slightly cleaner now! But I’m taking this as a lesson for next time. 😅
