The silence from GoDaddy on adopting or including .si in its registry path is very loud. I certainly can’t be the only one hearing it.
The biggest name in domain registration moves like an unfunded MVP SaaS prototyped (even those move faster).😫
It must be tough for its shareholders to watch this massive wave for .si , which also translates to profits, while the company stands on the sidelines.
What’s really the issue btw “GoDaddy”and “Speed”? Seems like there’s a deliberate dislike for “speed” on their part.
A tech company, constantly moving at the speed of a snail, in the age of “SuperIntelligence”, could it be: too much red tape, or meetings to set up meetings to decide when to set the next one, while the needle never moves?
It’s sad to watch it chip away at its relevance. 🤦🏾♂️
Maybe it should be broken into smaller pieces if it seems too big to run as one entity under its current governance.
The same happened with AI adoption. They were very late, which is why, even after spending (in DJT’s voice) “hundreds and hundreds of thousands of dollars” on GoDaddy Airo, they’re still struggling to get organic adoption and relevance.
Hundreds of ads on YouTube, cable TV, and paid podcasters and influencers hype it, yet I haven’t heard/read of an indie builder or small business owner who has successfully used GoDaddy Airo.
They’re likely in the red on that product, stuck between yanking it or throwing more money at it hoping something sticks.
They’re probably scratching their heads in meetings while Bolt, Lovable, Base, and others post record turnover with smaller teams and less ad spend.
@GoDaddy , with the arsenal at its disposal, shouldn’t be moving like
@usesav (no shade intended, domainers love u sav🤣)
