People are talking about Christa Pike’s arm burning during the failed execution but are completely ignoring what her victim, Colleen Slemmer, went through.
I really think some people have forgotten or simply don’t know what 19-year-old Colleen Slemmer endured before she died.
According to the medical examiner, there were so many slash wounds to Colleen’s body that she eventually stopped trying to catalog all of them individually.
Colleen had wounds across her back, arms, stomach, chest, throat and face.
There was a six-inch gaping wound across her neck plus another ten slashes to her throat.
A pentagram was carved into her chest.
She had defensive wounds from trying to protect herself.
And the medical examiner testified that Colleen was still alive while these injuries were being inflicted.
At one point, Christa leaned down and whispered to Colleen “Do you know who’s doing this to you?”
Ultimately, Colleen died after being repeatedly struck in the head with. Her skull was completely fractured, and part of her skull was driven into her brain.
After Colleen was dead, Pike kept a piece of her skull as a souvenir.
People need to remember the 19-year-old girl who was brutally murdered over a boy. Her name was Colleen Slemmer.
