I thought oxygen masks come out when planes suddenly nosedive 14,000 feet.

When you look at the overall economic data, prices are down. A temporary spike in oil has caused prices to increase. At the same time, wages have increased and jobs are up. Retirement funds are up, poverty is down and inflation is 3%. More companies are building. It's all good.

Today, provisions of the President’s Big Ugly Bill take effect that cut Medicaid and eliminate funding for SNAP, threatening the food assistance and health care that millions of Americans depend on.
The President and his sycophants in Congress gleefully cheered these cuts—but there is nothing to celebrate about Americans going hungry or families going without the care they need.
