I listen to you tube videos quite a lot these days but today, I've fallen into the "really boring famous people talking to other really boring famous people" algorithm I tried searching for some old favourites but the thing keeps on offering up podcasts to bore me to death😬

watching the rioting in France clearly people are unhappy are the rioters all students and what do the students wish to achieve that realistically can be delivered by the French Govt seems like all the reporting ( English, I hasten to add) seems to report "frustration & anger"🙄

🗑️ He was living in trash and at rock bottom 🪱 The flies had got at his old wounds which had caused very serious heart worm 🐕 He was so small he couldn’t defend himself against bigger dogs 🤒 He had so many things wrong with him that he was so drained and anemic. He wouldn’t have lasted much longer on the streets. Of course we had to call him Rod Stewart with that spiky hairstyle. It turns out he is the gentlest little sweet heart ever. Now that he is fully better he is getting ready for his big trip to his forever home In Ireland 🇮🇪. Just look at the fluffiness on him and his sheer joy in being alive. Some man Rod, some man!

Today, I ended up in hospital after experiencing significant chest pain. I’m now being referred to the Rapid Chest Pain Clinic because the doctors believe there could be an underlying issue that needs investigating. I’ve been put on daily aspirin and nitrolingual spray to use when the pain comes on, with clear instructions that if it doesn’t settle within five minutes, I must return immediately to hospital. But while I should be concentrating on my health, my mind keeps going back to one thing: What happens to the charity if we cannot secure the financial support we desperately need? I have given 10 years of my life volunteering to this charity, following six years previously volunteering to help London’s homeless people and their dogs. For 10 years, I have kept going because I believe in what we do. I believe in the people we help. I believe in the dogs we support. And I believe that the work we do matters. But I have to be completely honest now. We are struggling financially. Fundraising is becoming harder. Grants are becoming harder to secure. Donations are becoming harder to find. Yet the bills, and other essential costs do not stop. The charity’s overheads continue every single day, whether we have the money coming in or not. And I am reaching a point where I cannot continue carrying the financial worry, the pressure and the uncertainty on top of everything else. I am worried about my health.
I am worried about the charity.
And I am worried about what happens next. This isn't a post I ever wanted to write. I don't want sympathy. I need support. If you have ever believed in what we do, if our work has ever meant something to you, or if you simply want to help us keep going, now is the time to stand with us. 🙏 Please donate if you can. 🙏 Please consider fundraising for us. 🙏 Please share this post. 🙏 Please talk about our charity and help us reach people who may be able to support us. Even a small donation can help. A share could reach someone who can make a much bigger difference. A fundraiser could help pay an essential bill. A regular donation could give us the stability we desperately need. Please don't wait until we're forced to say that we can no longer continue. We have spent years helping others through some of the most difficult circumstances imaginable. Right now, we need people to help us. I have given everything I can for the last 10 years. But I cannot do this alone anymore. Please help us keep the charity alive.🧡 dogsonthestreets.org/donate-… peoplesfundraising.com/fundr… peoplesfundraising.com/fundr… #UrgentAppeal #PleaseHelpUs #CharityAppeal #SupportOurCharity #Fundraising #EveryDonationCounts #Homelessness #HomelessDogs #CharitySupport #SmallCharity #HelpUsContinue

its so sad, reading the engagement of this post, at how people feel like victims of other people's cultures or religions, but quite clear that there is a lot of fear in nearly every reply
so Badenoch says people should not come to UK and "recreate the place they came from" ........wow she might like to take a look at the English "enclaves" around the world and in particular the yob drinking culture that worries many locals in areas of low-cost airline holidays

I please ask you all kindly even if you can donate £1 to this fundraiser, it is getting to the point of being desperate now because we cannot get the Kennel block installed until we raise the remainder of the money to cover the outstanding balance. It’s very difficult time for Dogs on the streets we pay out constantly to support the most vulnerable with their pet Dogs providing free accessible Vet care free fostering during times in need hence why we need an additional Kennel block because we will very shortly be having to say no more entries available. let’s not let us get to this thank you 🧡 peoplesfundraising.com/fundr…

The BIG question… I’ve been saying this for a while…
why aren’t the robots working in the mines and oil fields and handling toxic chemicals or picking plastic out of the ocean? why are they writing emails and making powerpoint presentations? what the hell are we doing
