Zimbabwe inherited a lot of what David Graeber, categorized "bullshit jobs" post colonialism. If you look at government and council civil servant roles we could cull 80% of roles and you won’t notice the different:
1. Flunkies: Roles that exist solely to make someone more senior feel important (e.g., receptionists or assistants for executives who do not require assistance).
2. Duct Tapers: Individuals who spend their time patching up problems that could have been permanently fixed, often cleaning up after incompetent employees.
3. Box Tickers: Workers whose primary purpose is to allow a company to appear legitimate (e.g., producing reports that no one reads or coordinating unnecessary internal culture initiatives).
4. Goons: Negative-sum roles that only exist because competitors have them (e.g., lobbyists, corporate lawyers, or patent trolls).
5. Taskmasters: Managers who oversee people who do not actually need to be managed, often creating more busywork (like meetings) to justify their own positions.
Infact anyone who says “I’m in the development space” doesn’t need to exist and creates zero value!

Microsoft managed to make “Copilot” mean “AI slop” thanks shipping completely broken and forced Copilot features for years, so ppl hate it. Not too dissimilar to Google’s Gemini integrations that are just as unserious. Corporate incentives…

It looks like the Copilot+ PC brand is dead. Microsoft and PC makers have slowly moved away from marketing their PCs as "Copilot+ PCs"

I asked Surface CVP Brett Ostrum why Microsoft hasn't openly marketed any of its Surface PCs as Copilot+ PCs in 2026, and he confirmed that its latest line of devices are no longer being branded as such.
The Copilot+ PC specification baseline continues to exist, but you likely won't see OEMs openly mention it anymore. NVIDIA hasn't gone near the Copilot+ PC brand, and likely won't, even though the RTX Spark is a Copilot+ capable.
