And here are 5 of the coolest things about it:
1. HCA sessions for agents. An app or AI agent can manage ENS records on your behalf with scoped, time-limited, revocable permissions, without you signing every transaction.
2. One API for ENSv1 and ENSv2. Call getOwner or setText, and ENSForge works out which protocol, registry, resolver, or wrapper the name uses. No separate V1 and V2 code paths.
3. Promise and Effect from the same code. Beginners get a normal async API. Advanced teams get typed errors, retries, concurrency, and tracing. Both run the same implementation.
4. Resumable multi-step writes. Registration and migration flows checkpoint their progress and recover after a crash, a closed tab, or a failed transaction.
5. Gas sponsorship built in. Pimlico and Rhinestone plug in directly, so users can register names or update records without holding ETH.

any time i see something like this i get a little heart broken.
"hex addresses" shouldn't be primary format of sending and receiving payments.
"copy-paste" shouldn't be primary means of selecting a contact you want to send the money to.
we need a universal username system that maps all addresses from all chains to human-readable usernames.
and that's ENS.
Lost $20K USDC today to one missing character on Solana.
I was repaying a loan on Solana and was using the protocol in backpack, I copied my address from backpack, pasted it into Binance and After sending, I realized the last "J" in the address was gone.
Still a valid Solana address, so it went through. Almost certainly nobody holds the key.
First time losing money in a very stupid way.
I blame Binance, but that's probably because I'm a little salty right now.
