So grateful to all of our Democracy Summer Fellows, Scholars and Action Corps members for an uplifting summer of democratic activism and organizing! We're so proud to have you on our team.

Summer may be coming to a close, but Democracy Summer will continue organizing for landslide Democratic victory through November and beyond! ☀️

What an honor for Democracy Summer to be featured in @bethesda_today! Thank you to all the young leaders and activists whose passionate organizing has helped make the program what it is today.

“From its beginnings two decades ago as an acorn of youthful activism operated on a shoestring, Democracy Summer has grown into an oak tree branching out across the country.” Delighted to see the work of our passionate Democracy Summer Fellows and Scholars all over America featured in @Bethesda_Today. Young Americans are an unstoppable force for change and a wellspring of new ideas in the Democratic Party, and 2026 was our largest class yet in Democracy Summer. I’m grateful for everyone who has turned this summer school for new Democratic leaders and organizers into a nationwide force for the defense of democracy, freedom and progress. bethesdamagazine.com/2026/08…

Democracy Summer allows young people to interact throughout the summer with the Members of Congress and candidates participating in our program. These interactions produce powerful moments like this one between Democracy Summer Fellow Jaden Lee and Senator Andy Kim. Another Fellow, Mia Rubin, made this wonderful video.

It was a great honor to welcome our friend, Emmy Award-winning actress, producer, and activist, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, as the Commencement Speaker for our 2026 Democracy Summer graduation! Thank you for your stirring speech and your exemplary commitment to fighting for strong democracy and freedom in America, JLD. Our Fellows were hanging on your every word and we are grateful for your friendship and inspiring leadership.

Sending gratitude to our nearly 2,000 Democracy Summer Fellows, Scholars, and Action Corps members who spent the summer registering voters, canvassing in competitive swing districts, phonebanking for surging red-to-blue candidates, and organizing mass events and rallies for Democratic campaigns all over America. We still have many great battles to fight together and win. More than 150 Democratic Members of Congress and leaders thank you and look forward to working with you to rebuild civic strength and elect robust Democratic majorities in 2026 and beyond.

They knocked on 2700 doors and met tons of Democrats and Independents eager to join the campaign joined by Congressman @jamie_raskin . With over 14 years of experience working with state and federal regulators to protect Americans against financial misconduct and abuse, @Schwartz4_MD1st is ready to take on MAGA corruption in Washington and restore the government as an instrument of the common good.

Our Democracy Summer fellows were up early for a little field trip to knock doors for @Mendoza4AZ in Tucson! Joanna Mendoza's race is one of the most competitive in the entire country. I'm proud to have our @NatlDemSummer team out to support.
