Yesterday was Lynch Syndrome Awareness Day. Thank you @LynchSyndromeUK@CaPP3@kohut_kelly@tsmith1571 for inviting me to speak to patients and their families. Great talks especially from our nurses and genetic counsellors 👏👏. Audience questions were phenomenal + personal🧐❤️🙏
What an incredible day of science, innovation, and empowerment at the @LynchSyndromeUK conference on #LynchSyndromeDay2025. The pace of progress in this space is truly inspiring, and I was honoured to be part of it working in partnership with those living with Lynch syndrome.
Being a medical student is simply not affordable. Many students are living hand to mouth relying on income from part-time jobs or parents. For others that don’t have these options, they may simply be unable to finish medical school.
Great to be at the @RCObsGyn as part of the Genomics Standing Committee. We have an ambitious plan to driving genomic literacy and ensuring breakthroughs in the field reach the patients who need them. Watch this space

🚨 Introducing the Period Symptom Checker 🚨
Too many women suffer in silence, battling heavy bleeding and pain every month, only to be told it’s “just a period” when they do seek help. Stigma and lack of awareness of period health prevent many women from getting the support they need. But it doesn’t have to be this way!
That’s why we have launched the Period Symptom Checker, designed to help women and girls to take control of their menstrual health.
Developed with GPs, gynaecologists, researchers, and women with lived experience, the Period Symptom Checker is here to empower women with knowledge and the confidence to seek help sooner.
💬 If you or someone you know is struggling with painful, heavy periods, use the Period Symptom Checker today and take the first step toward getting the support you need.
