- I had probably 50 people with UN or Press badges take pictures with/of me
- gave an interview with one journalist and my contact information to another
- someone with a very large entourage read my entire sign
- met Alex Bores on his way to a meeting about AI
The attitude from people I met was almost universally sympathetic. People are worried

I just read @SciGuySpace 's "ReEntry" over Yom Kippur. I read "Liftoff" and it was amazing. ReEntry was also great, super-recommend it. However, he included at the very end some personal comments about @X and @elonmusk being Anti-Semitic (what?) which I didn't understand. Great book, read it, ignore that part. Have no idea why he decided to inject his personal opinion right at the end there. Eric, leave that out going forward.
Maybe he wrote it in that short window right after the acquisition, where people were loudly saying Elon would destroy X. Before we all realised, quite the opposite was true. Had zero to do with the book.
For the record, I'm an Israeli, and never for a second have I felt that Elon was antisemitic. I have no idea where that came from.

Somebody did this and bumped my car with theirs today while I was sitting in it. Then when I told her “you just hit my car” she started yelling at me that she was a kilometer away from me.
I tapped the side camera and told her it’s a Tesla and all recorded. She called me a name.
Parking lot was completely empty except our two cars.
By the way, it was for a funeral we both turned out to be attending. After she came up and apologized to me.
I will never understand people when there’s a completely empty parking lot and they come and park right next to you. Someone should do some study on this. Why would anyone do that

EA AI safetyism increasingly looks like Marxism-Leninism for the algorithmic age.
The old vanguard claimed privileged knowledge of the inevitable course of History. The new one claims privileged knowledge of the probabilistic course of Humanity.
Both use an elaborate intellectual framework to reach the same political conclusion: a small group of enlightened people must constrain everyone else for their own good.
That has never lead to anything except monumental human suffering.
