Entanglement is the purposeful creation of interdependencies between participants in a network such that the success of each becomes structurally inseparable from the success of the whole.

This is a positive inversion of the tragedy of the commons. Rather than accepting the incentive to defect as given and building institutional apparatus to contain it, entanglement restructures the incentive architecture so that cooperation emerges as a consequence of mutual implication. It produces structural alignment that no longer requires altruism, social norms, or effective enforcement.
