We do what we want in our homes. We make the rules.
As an Asian guy I never understood why people walk with their shoes in their home.

I know only 2 people that asks people to remove their shoes upon entering their house , personally I think it’s a ridiculous request unless it’s muddy/snow outside.

I don't know a single person that wares their shoes in their house/appt. All but a few have pets (cats and dogs) and somehow their houses aren't filthy. If someone wore their shoes in my house, it would be the last time I invited them over.

I never said the pets make the house filthy/messy, but if they’re indoor/outdoor pets then yes, they’re contaminating the floors and possibly bringing in Fleas.

Contamination = filthy & messy. I don't know anyone that willingly lets their dog shit in their living room. They all go outside. Fleas come from other animals. A flea, tick, and heart worm med fixes that. The filth from their paws is far less than from my shoes.

Fleas come in on dogs/cats, Fact. Contamination doesn’t equal Filthy/Messy. What comes in on their feet/fur can be just as bad as a shoe.

Its not quality its quantity. The area of my boots are 30x larger than a medium sized dogs pads. My dogs feet touch the street, the driveway, the park, and the lawn. I have literally had to walk though shit. Its not the same. People are retarded. Take the shoes off.

🤣I’d hope people aren’t letting their pets shit on their floors however I have seen pets , nervous or ill that have accidentally shit or pissed on floors/carpet therefore contaminating them.

Yeah and they clean up the mess and correct the problem. They don't accept it will happen and leave it. Which is what people who ware shoes in their houses do.
