G2 Esports has ended its partnership with Perkz following a controversial post about his personal beliefs. Perkz spoke openly about his Catholic faith and his opposition to abortion, saying he believes life begins at conception and that this is a position he will never change, this triggered a massive backlash from some people G2 later addressed the situation, saying his comments did not align with the organization’s values and its commitment to diversity and inclusion. The organization also apologized to those who felt affected by the statements.
