The Notre Dame organ has always been one of the most important in Christendom. Canonise Louis Vierne!

I love pipe organ music. My mom used to play the organ for church.

I know he’s the Pope and is probably used to all the “bells and smells” and the big to-do that goes along with being the Pope… but I just imagine he had chills going up and down his spine, walking into that massive cathedral to such gorgeous music… It must be surreal.

There should always be something a bit horrifying about the music of a pipe organ. A bit of fear.

Its the realest instrument out there. Take any song and do it with a pipe organ and it instantly has gravitas
