Projects That Shut Down Recently
Eight crypto projects have announced shutdowns since August, and not one of them was hacked. They closed because running them cost more than they earned.
The list covers every layer of the market. Exchanges are leaving: BitMart ended trading after nine years and CoinEx closes on December 22. L2s are folding as well. Blast once held $2B+ and Abstract onboarded 400K users, yet both are shutting their chains.
The apps went first: the Printr launchpad, the Trepa prediction market, Flash Trade perps and Step App, one of the last move-to-earn survivors.
If you still have funds on any of these, check the deadlines. Blast's standard interface closes on October 26. On Abstract, anything not bridged by December 15 becomes inaccessible.

Fuck dropshipping, Fuck claude code, Fuck building AI startups
it's all for poors
The easiest way to print $30k/mo with AI in 2026 is running a fake old lady on tiktok who sells vitamins to women in their 60s....
99% of you won't do it because it's too embarrassing to admit
Total tool stack to operate one of them: $300/mo
ChatGPT $200 (automation using Dots)
Higgsfield $15 (AI avatar)
ManyChat $15 (the DM funnel)
Gumroad FREE
That's the entire infrastructure for a business that does $30-50k/mo
Move 1. Build the character in Higgsfield.
Pick a real older woman archetype. Chinese grandmother for cooking. Asian monk for wellness. Latin abuela for natural remedies.
Move 2. Run the 14-day warming sequence.
Don't post AI videos on day 1. Browse for 3 days. Comment for 4 days. Post 8 normal videos for 7 days. Day 14 start the real content.
Skip this and you get shadow-banned in week 3
Move 3. Pick 5 starter products.
Filter to women 38-65 categories: kitchen, home, beauty, supplements. Skip products with under 50 sales/week. Pick winners with 4+ stars and 3+ creators making sales
Move 4. Write the 18-second BOF script.
Hook line ("if you're over 50 and your knees crack, this is for you"). Demonstration with one specific number. CTA referencing the yellow basket icon. Product visible from second one
Move 5. Automate posting 6 videos a day.
Most will flop. By video 100 you'll have 1-2 winners pulling 200k-500k views. Duplicate the winners 30x. Don't tweak.
Move 6. Set up a manychat trigger before day 1.
Trigger keyword tied to a 4-message DM flow ending in your tiktok shop affiliate link. 31-41% click-through rate vs email at 4%.
Adds $200-800/mo per page on autopilot
Month 2 you'll cross $3-5k. Month 3 you'll cross $10-15k. Month 6 you should be at $30-50k from one page. Month 9 at 2-3 pages
The math nobody talks about
Dropshipping requires inventory, supplier negotiations, ad spend, returns, customer service. Average margin 4-12%. Average operator burnout: 14 months
Coding with claude requires you to learn how software works, get a job at a tech company that may not exist in 4 years, work 50+ hours/week for $120-180k. Average path to $30k/mo: 7-10 years
Building an AI SaaS requires you to compete with VC-funded teams, scale to product-market fit, fundraise, hire engineers. 90% die in 18 months
Running a fake AI grandmother requires $300/mo in tools and the willingness to look stupid. Average path to $30k/mo: 6 months. Average margin: 95%
They don't eat. They don't sleep. They don't quit. They don't get hangovers. They don't go through breakups. They don't ask for raises. They don't ghost me on monday morning
They post 6 times a day for 30 straight days.
I broke down how to build the whole system with OpenAI Dots + GPT-6.1 Sol here:
OpenAI just launched Dots.
And this may be the first AI agent you can actually turn into a 24/7 business operator.
It can research, create, post, analyze, and repeat on its own.
I broke down exactly how to use Dots + GPT-6.1 Sol to make money:
A Stanford professor took two average stocks, rebalanced them daily, and turned $100,000 into $7 million without predicting a single price.

🚨 Chain Reaction v0.39.0 is LIVE 🚨
This is a BIG one. All-new UI, major audio upgrades, combat improvements, map polish + more.
✨ Added
🎨 A new UI: The WHOLE game has a redesigned interface, from login + menus through the lobby, loadout + armory to the in-match HUD, scoreboard + match results.
🔊 Sounds are muffled through walls: Gunfire, footsteps + explosions on the other side of a wall now sound dulled instead of like they're right next to you. Distant sounds are softer overall too.
🎯 Weapon blur while aiming down sights: Your weapon + hands soften as you aim while the world + your target stay sharp. It's ON by default + can be disabled in Video settings.
🔧 Changed
👣 Footsteps have been reworked: New footstep sounds for each surface + consistent volume across every map and surface. Running is easier to hear coming, while walking + crouching stay quiet.
🗡️ Rift Blade comes out faster: Draw time is now ~0.7 seconds instead of 1.7.
🎙️ Mic Sensitivity works the same with push-to-talk: The slider now applies whether you're using push-to-talk or an open mic.
🖥️ DLSS Neural Rendering looks cleaner: It now processes the image BEFORE bloom, motion blur + colour grading are applied.
🗺️ Map fixes on Slums, Moon Base + Dune: All three maps received another round of fixes + re-baked lighting.
🛠 Fixed
🔫 Fire rate no longer depends on your frame rate: Single-shot + burst weapons could drop shots when FPS dipped, and the Photon Rifle's burst fired slightly slower than intended.
🎙️ Garbled voice chat: Teammates' voices no longer cut in + out or sound garbled mid-sentence.
💣 Grenade cooldown could be skipped: Throwing your last grenade + switching to the other utility slot no longer lets you throw again early.
⏱️ Space + B changed your respawn timer: Pressing B on the death screen cut the wait to 1 second, while Space added several seconds. Neither affects the timer now.
🏁 Stuck in the map after Team Deathmatch: If you rejoined a match in progress, you could be left in the map at match end with no results screen + no return to the lobby.
🤖 Bots refusing to fire the Graviton Longshot: In Gun Progression, bots would walk up to you or another bot + just stand there instead of shooting.
🤖 Bots teleporting on Slums + Moon Base: Bots no longer snap across rooftop gaps, jump onto distant ladders or slide down walls that have no ladder.
💣 Bots stuck holding a grenade: A bot with the Rift Blade could switch to a grenade it couldn't throw + stop fighting. In solo matches, bots also held the Rift Blade in a rifle pose.
🖥️ Crash with DLSS Frame Generation ON: We shipped a fix aimed at the crash where the game closes mid-match or right after a match.
⚠️ If you're still experiencing the DLSS Frame Generation crash, please let us know.

🚨 Chain Reaction v0.38.0 is LIVE 🚨
Another big update focused on match reliability, performance, weapons, bots, controls + multiplayer polish.
✨ Added
🔄 Rejoin a match you dropped out of: If your connection drops or the game crashes during an online match, you can now go back into it. You keep your team, your score + your token balance, and a bot won't take your place while you're gone.
🔧 Changed
👤 Display names are limited to 16 characters: Longer names can no longer be set, so they fit on the scoreboard + in lobbies.
🖥️ Auto-Detect picks a more realistic graphics preset: It now judges your graphics card itself rather than how much memory it has, so it stops choosing Ultra High on hardware that can't handle it.
🎮 Controls presets moved to the Controls tab: The preset dropdown now sits above your key bindings. The tab only shows the selected preset's bindings, and rebinding a key starts a Custom preset from the one you were on.
🍯 Honey Grenades no longer stick to teammates in Team Deathmatch: You can't stick one on a teammate + send them running at the enemy any more.
🛠 Fixed
🚀 Bots now fire the Rocket Launcher in Gun Progression: Bots used to walk up to you or another bot + stare without firing. They now shoot at close range too, and hold fire when their shot is blocked.
⚛️ The Photon Rifle's charged shot no longer kills two bots that are far apart: The blast now goes off on the body it hits, not somewhere past it.
🔥 An overheated Photon Rifle charge no longer powers up your next shot: If a charge overheated, the next normal shot used to hit with full charged-shot damage + the explosion.
⚛️ Picking up an item no longer cancels a Photon Rifle charge: You can't escape the overheat penalty by grabbing something off the ground mid-charge.
🧱 You can no longer pick up items through walls + ceilings: For example, grabbing a weapon from the floor above you.
🔫 Held weapons no longer look like holograms: This was mostly seen while spectating.
💣 No more stutter the first time you throw a Frag or Honey Grenade: The first explosion of a session used to freeze the game for a moment.
⚡ Performance no longer gets worse after several matches in a row: CPU usage used to keep climbing over a long session, most noticeably with repeated matches on Slums.
🩸 The red damage vignette clears when you respawn: Before, it could stay on screen until you died again.
🔄 The Create Match button works again after a "Disconnected!" message: You no longer need to leave the map + mode screen and come back to retry.
📊 Player names + token counts fit their boxes in Team Deathmatch: Long names used to spill out of the in-game scoreboard, the HUD + the lobby's Unassigned list.
⚙️ Match Settings closes properly when the host readies up: Before, it was only hidden + not actually closed.
👥 The lobby hides the "Unassigned" label when nobody is unassigned: It no longer floats over an empty list once you're ready.

Jev is faster than prediction markets
we’ve made over $300 in 2 days letting it run freely
back in may we had a version with claude which just lost money
→ it was 200X times slower than jev
→ it costed 100X times more than jev
→ it basically only lost
we couldn’t find a way to make it profitable
after jev dropped we checked the benchmarks and we fixed the bot in 20 minutes
I’m giving away the entire framework and files to rebuild it yourself
rt + comment “jev bot” and I’ll send you everything
(follow for dm)
Jev is the FASTEST AI model ever built for trading
It makes calibrated buy/sell decisions in under 100 ms
That is one real decision on every single block, 24/7
In this article I've shown EXACTLY how to build HFT trading system with Jev (from scratch)
🚨 Chain Reaction v0.37.0 is LIVE 🚨
Another big update focused on voice chat, graphics, audio, maps, combat + polish.
✨ Added
🎙️ Push to talk: Voice chat can now be set to push-to-talk from the Audio tab in Settings, and it sticks between sessions.
🎚️ Microphone volume + sensitivity: The Audio tab now has a mic volume slider + sensitivity control with a live level meter, so you can see yourself hitting the threshold before you talk.
🎵 Music on the login screen: The login screen now plays background music instead of sitting silent.
🔢 Numbers on settings sliders: Every slider in Settings now shows its current value, so you can tell what you actually set.
🖥️ Auto-Detect for video settings: A new row under Rendering picks graphics settings to match your machine in one click.
🔧 Changed
🎮 Video options grey out when your hardware can't run them: Frame generation + DLSS Neural Rendering rows are no longer offered on cards that cannot use them instead of failing silently.
💣 Throwables stick to moving objects: A sticky grenade attached to a moving platform or door now rides along with it instead of hanging in the air where it landed.
🏜️ Dune + Slums look and run better: New detailed models for the vans, rocks, pipes + bridges on Dune, plus a lighting rebake on Dune + Slums.
🔊 UI, announcer + kill-streak sound sits above the match mix: Menu + HUD audio now has its own priority, so it doesn't get drowned out or ducked by the fight around you.
🛠 Fixed
🔫 Weapons are no longer flat + washed out: Guns were rendering without their normal, metal + emission maps in built versions of the game, making them look like untextured plastic.
📊 Frame rate no longer halves at the Match Results screen: The end-of-match transition used to hitch hard as the results screen loaded.
⏱️ The warm-up countdown matches for everybody: It now counts down from five, once, on every player's screen instead of each client showing a different number.
🪜 Reloading survives climbing a ladder: Starting a reload + then mounting a ladder used to silently throw the reload away, so you reached the top with an empty gun.
🔊 Announcer, pickup + self-feedback sounds no longer echo: Kill streak calls + your own pickup sounds picked up the map's reverb when you were in a corridor.
🔫 You can hear other players draw their weapons: The weapon draw sound was only audible to the player drawing it, and now carries a sensible distance rather than across the whole map.
👣 Footsteps + bullet impacts use the right surface: Footsteps were inaudible on Slums' stairs + metal walkways, surfaces were unauthored across every shipping map, and bullets played concrete impacts on geometry that should have sounded like something else.
🤖 Bots no longer mime throwing grenades: A bot would play the full throw animation with nothing leaving its hand, most obviously when spectating one in first person.
✨ Dropped items sparkle again: A dropped weapon or utility stopped blinking to mark itself, so it was easy to walk past.
💀 The reload prompt disappears when you die: It used to stay on screen while you watched your own corpse.
🏃 Right-clicking during a weapon's cooldown no longer breaks the run animation: Right-click while running + while the weapon was cooling down used to snap you into the wrong animation, on any weapon.
🗡️ Holding right-click through a Rift Blade lunge no longer locks you to a walk: You stayed walking until you let go of right-click, and the sprint desynced with the server.
🏜️ You no longer get stuck at a Dune spawn point: Missing collision at one spawn could trap you on respawn.
🪜 First-person climbing hands show when you spectate someone mid-climb: The arms were missing if you switched to a player already on a ladder.
⚛️ Charged shots on the Photon Rifle are judged fairly: A release right at the minimum charge could disagree between you + the server, and a shot the server discarded still advanced its recoil + spread, so your later shots drifted for a shot you never fired.
🎯 The damage direction indicator is more accurate: It no longer invents a direction when you hurt yourself, and points more usefully at where the damage came from.
