I'm seeing A LOT of these posts: "I'm 50, 60, 70, 80 years old. I've voted Republican all my life, and this current Congress has done nothing for Americans, so I'M SITTING THIS ONE OUT." Okay. When you mention your age, do you ever stop and think about what that age is supposed to represent? You're not a teenager anymore. You're not 21 and figuring out how the world works. You're 50. 60. 61. 62. At some point, AGE is supposed to come with WISDOM. Have you taken the time to understand how your government actually works? What the President controls? What Congress controls? What the House can do? What the Senate can do? How many votes legislation requires? What the courts can stop? What individual members of Congress can and CANNOT accomplish? Or do you just look around, get angry that everything you wanted hasn't happened fast enough and decide: "SCREW IT. I'M STAYING HOME." And then announce it publicly like you've just revealed some profound political strategy. Have you ever stopped and thought: "Maybe this post is dumb?" Seriously. Because when you're 60, 70 or 80 years old, you carry another responsibility. There are younger Americans watching you. Your children. Your grandchildren. People in your church. People in your community. People who haven't lived through what you've lived through. YOU are supposed to be transferring knowledge to THEM. You're supposed to be able to explain what worked. What failed. What mistakes your generation made. How government actually functions. How political power is gained. How political power is lost. And how younger generations can make BETTER decisions than your generation did. Instead, some of you are basically saying: "I've been participating in this system for 40 or 50 years. I didn't get everything I wanted, so now I'm taking my ball and going home." WHAT? 😂 You're allowed to be angry. You're allowed to be disappointed. You're allowed to criticize Congress. You're allowed to criticize Republicans. You're allowed to demand MORE from the people you elected. In fact, YOU SHOULD. But frustration is not a substitute for understanding how the system works. If you're going to announce your age as evidence that you've seen enough to know better... THEN KNOW BETTER. You're 50, 60, 70 or 80 years old. You've lived through Presidents. Recessions. Wars. Inflation. Political scandals. Booms. Crashes. Republican governments. Democratic governments. Decades of American history. That experience should produce WISDOM. And wisdom should be passed DOWN. Not wasted. The younger generation already has TikTok, algorithms, influencers, propaganda, AI-generated garbage and 30-second clips trying to teach them how the world works. They need grandparents and parents who actually understand the system. So before posting: "I'M SITTING THIS ONE OUT." Maybe sit down first. Think. Read. Understand the consequences of participating AND not participating. Then make your decision. You're the elder generation. ACT LIKE IT. AJ Inapi

Look no further than Cracker Barrel: Decades of brutal mismanagement have seen one incompetent CEO after another walk away with a massive paycheck while customers and actual shareholders take a beating. Why does this keep happening? Because proxy advisory firms like ISS are corrupt. They blindly rubber-stamp failing boards year after year, protecting the corporate elite while burning shareholder value to the ground. The root of the rot is index funds. There's no question that indexing one's money is a smart financial move for most people. But just because you passively index your investments doesn't mean your corporate votes should be handed over to the managers of your fund so they can play politics. Right now, passive funds hold massive, unchecked voting blocks while having zero skin in the game themselves. It is time for a simple rewrite of the rules: We need to index the votes of index fund investors. Passive index funds should be forced to automatically split their votes to proportionately mirror those of retail and active institutional shareholders — the people actually doing the research, risking their capital, and fighting for performance in the companies they hold shares in. No more rubber-stamping. A change like this will immediately strip corrupt gatekeepers like ISS of their toxic influence. True accountability happens when lazy, overpaid boards actually answer to the stakeholders they represent, rather than screwing them over. Actual, logic-driven governance when your money is passive happens when your vote passively follows the voting decisions of the actual market. We need to stop letting passive capital protect active incompetence. By stripping index funds of their arbitrary voting power and empowering engaged investors, we will finally torch corporate cronyism and usher American capital markets into a golden age of capitalism.
