instant bookmark, the difference in text weights is a little jarring though?

interesting choice by @paper to lock the cursor when changing numerical values at first it felt a little weird, probs because i'm used to the cursor moving while drag, but i think i actually prefer this approach, especially when i have to drag a value quite far

first time i experienced this numerical changing interaction was in blender (where it happens similar to what happens in figma) Felt cool at start but difficult when working with it This right here should have been the de-facto

Today we're launching Diffusion Studio on Windows. An open-source video editor for you and your agents: → Edit footage and motion graphics on autopilot → Make the final tweaks in a GUI → Fork it. Extend it. Make it yours I promised Windows at 2k stars. We're at 3k now.

yoo imagine this as a way to talk w your agents - each annotation lets one agent run the task

we have something really similar in krea.ai/edit (minus the animations and whatnot) for annotating the image and edit it in one turn!

Very excited to share that I've joined @raster_art as a Founding Frontend Engineer. What struck me about Raster is how quickly it's become such a central platform for artists and collectors, and how much care goes into making it a joy to use. This role brings together two worlds I've been in for many years now - art and frontend development. Having spent years in each separately, I'm really excited to now be building at the intersection of both. I’m looking forward to helping shape the future of digital art alongside @thefunnyguysNFT and @0xmetaclass!

introducing regards.design: a carefully curated search engine for design inspiration, updated daily. good design starts with good references, but no search engine was built just for finding them. every day we hoard the web's best design, to pull apart and stitch into something new. now it's all in one place, and you can search it by how it looks.

It's better to lock the pointer only when it approaches the screen edges and avoid locking the pointer unnecessarily. This also avoids the horrible Safari warning banner as much as possible.
had to try this out myself because i'm def planning to use it in the future, and turns out it's super easy to do with the Pointer Lock API

hmm in this case i think figmas approach by wrapping the cursor at the edges would work better i mean what if the constrain happens over a completely unrelated element? might look like i’m editing that element/value

here it is :)
Beautiful attention to detail in Figma: when you drag a numeric input over the screen edge, it comes around on the other side as virtual cursor. Anyone knows who designed this and if that's the first occurrence of this mechanism?
