just a dev building things here and there · sometimes they work per aspera ad astra

EVM
It's official, I'm joining @perpltrade as a Frontend Developer. What makes this special: I've quietly been building here for almost three months already. This isn't the start of the journey, it's the moment it became real. In these first months I've had my hands deep in the product, shipping the tournament pages, sharpening the UI across the app, and building out the Points page. Perpl's mission is easy to say and brutally hard to ship: the best perp in the game, and the only 100% on-chain CLOB. Built on Monad, the impossible turns lightning-fast and zero-friction. Living inside that contradiction every day is what hooked me and I couldn't be more excited to be part of this team, because I genuinely share their vision. Joining a team of this caliber is, without a doubt, a pivot point in my life as a developer. It's the kind of moment you only get a few times. And it comes with something I didn't always have along the way: the feeling of serving a cause that actually matters. None of it happens without the people. Massive respect to the founders, @0x70626a, who take the hardest technical problems head-on while staying ruthlessly faithful to the core ethos of Web3. They set the bar, then keep raising it. The dev team operates on another level, from the backend minds making a fully on-chain CLOB actually work, to Gazim on frontend, whose command of the craft earns instant respect and pushes me to elevate my own game every single day. On design, @jon_designs makes the work a genuine joy, and his talent is rare, alongside the brilliant @Liliia_Eth, whose visuals simply speak for themselves. And @_gvan on growth, who opened the door for me and whose vision for community is something else, together with the social team holding down the Discord (s/o @0xArich) and everyone grinding in the shadows. Building in Web3 for years has never been a straight line. There was doubt. There were steep climbs and longer nights than I'd care to admit. But I kept pushing, to grow as a developer, to ship things that hold up, and to never lose sight of the person on the other side of the screen. @monad gave me an environment where this passion could become a full-time reality, and connected me with people from every corner of the globe. The hackathons. The IRL events. The incredible French community. And the ones I've never even met who still pushed me to give everything. Looking back, the hard moments and the late nights are exactly what make reaching this milestone mean something. To join a team of this quality isn't just a line on a profile, it's a real source of pride. Now I'm fully locked in to help @perpltrade redefine on-chain trading Per Aspera Ad Astra

I spent this @monad metropolis hackathon on Interlude, which is the Ephemeral Rollup Kanddle is the app I built on it so you can watch the idea work, instead of reading a diagram. The game is simple, two people open a 1v1 on Monad, lock the same stack, and tap squares on a tape. If the print hits your square you score. If it misses, you do not. When the clock ends, the higher stack takes the pot. Do that on a chain the usual way and every tap is an L1 transaction. Even if the wallet is quiet, you still pay gas, you still wait on a block, and you still do not get the result back in the same breath. Twenty taps in ninety seconds becomes twenty confirmations. The match cannot live there. Do that on a server and the match is instant, because the server is just editing a row. It can ignore a tap, rewrite a stack, or vanish and take the room with it. The chips may sit in a contract. The fight does not. You are trusting whoever runs the box. The Ephemeral Rollup is the third path. Same Solidity, same address. You sign a session once. After that each tap is a real contract call on the node, both players share that state, and the node later commits the net diffs back to Monad. Fast while you play. Settled when it counts. If the node lies, the batch is replayable and the bond is there. v1 is still permissioned. I am not pretending otherwise. That is why Kanddle exists. I needed a live room two people can actually play, and I needed the pot to stay in the contract they already deposited into. A raw chain breaks the room. A server breaks the pot. Interlude is the ER that lets both stay true. The app is rough. Plenty still broken. If you want early access, say so in the comments.

Building something for @monad hackathon Instant like an app. Settled like Monad. Fully onchain, at the speed of a click. A game, a room, a live app. Open a session or a hundred. The contract never leaves Monad. if that's what you're building, DM me

Just started learning game dev with Unreal Engine as a side project and thought it could be nice to build in public So here's my first project and it's a whole new world, u quickly understand why AAA games are built by teams of hundreds of people I kept the game simple on purpose cuz the idea was to learn the basics, the game isn't finished yet as u can see Stuff I picked up along the way: → Blueprints (visual scripting) → Animation blueprints & montages → Retargeting animations across different skeletons → Collision & damage systems → Enemy AI (chase + attack) → Health & death systems → VFX & sound → Performance optimization The long-term goal is to eventually build games with on-chain features, not to be on-chain just for the sake of it but to bridge two worlds I love Constantly pushing urself toward hard things is what truly levels up your skills, it changes the way you think drives u to learn sth new every day

Here is my submission for the @monad x @buildanythingso Spark hackathon IDEA #141: a perp backtester built on @perpltrade public market data It lets you test any trading strategy on real historical data, before risking a single dollar. You see exactly what would have worked, and what wouldn't And unlike spot backtesters, it's built for perps: leverage, funding, and fees included. → 9 strategies → bar-by-bar replay → onchain records on Monad This is a v1, all feedback is welcome, I'll keep improving it based on what traders need Link in comments 👇
