I have 5 Claude subscriptions... + a banked reset on every one of them...

people keep asking why anyone would pay for software they could just prompt into existence
because generating the first version of something isnt the hard part
running it is
someone still has to host it keep it secure handle the edge cases answer the support request when something breaks at night and make sure the update doesnt quietly break the workflow everyone depends on
that is what software as a service means
most people dont want to own the maintenance of every tool they use
they want the thing to just work and they want someone accountable when it doesnt
thats also why good saas products dont get replaced just because the code is easier to produce now
code was never the entire value proposition
trust and reliability are
the boring operational work that users never see is
if youre building software right now focus less on whether someone can recreate the interface
focus more on whether they would want to operate the whole thing themselves
