well... claude built this in 15 mins 🤠 creating something like this just 6 months ago would have costed $1,000 or more
I know that given the reference, Claude is able to build it. no more than 8 months ago, I was trying to build a launch video for SuperCmd with Remotion with detailed prompting, and the output was trash. So I edited it myself in Veed. Now we’ve gone from AI not being able to make animated launch videos to “you just need to write a good prompt”
I foresee two things:
- A wave of “AI launch video” SaaS products that take care of the prompts (just like claude design)
- The value for motion design going down, similar to what we’ve seen with programming
to think you hired a motion designer to prove ai will replace humans.

Someone cloned holdmynotes, slapped AI on top, and launched it claiming they came up with the idea.
Copying the idea is fine. 5+ people created their own version of holdmynotes, even if it's paid, they attributed holdmynotes. SuperCmd directly attributes to Raycast for being the alternative. credits where due.
Issue is when someone copies the app and claims to have come up with the idea.

This will forever change how power users switch apps on MacOS
MacOS is full of animations. Switching to an app means repeatedly using cmd + tab or using power tools to assign a hotkey to the app. Even if you are using the hyperkey on Raycast to open apps, you will still be faced with the animations if the app is on different desktop.
I've completely solved this pain point in the latest release of SuperCmd
Here's what's done
1. Completely eliminated the animation, the hotkey will instantly switch to the instance of that app, even if it's on a different desktop
2. If there are multiple instances of the same app, e.g., 4 cursor projects, it will cycle through all the open windows of that app. (even VSCode / cursor supports cycling through windows only on the current desktop)
I've long wanted to solve this issue for myself, and it has been the biggest bottleneck in my productivity. I see this as a huge win for power users, specially ADHD bois!
SuperCmd 1.0.7 is out, but I wanted to dedicate a post to this specific feature first. The complete release post will come later.
