Croix has begged Hillsborough County to condemn his home so his insurance claim can move forward. His engineer recommended condemnation. Geological testing documented serious subsurface concerns. The media even came out and reported on it. Yet when the county came to inspect the house, they said they can’t “visually corroborate” the issue and REFUSED to condemn it. A few months later another official drove by and CITED him for it not being safe to live in and told him to repair it or tear it down or he risks being fined THOUSANDS per day. How does that make sense??!! So which is it Hillsborough?? We finally have a hearing Tomorrow morning to get them to explain what they expect Croix to do. Fix walls and live on top of a hole??
