South Africans are laughing at the size of a Kenyan police station, so I went to look at what those skyscraper police stations are achieving.
40,475 reported rapes in one year. That is about 3,373 a month, 778 a week, 111 every day and nearly five every hour.
Basically, one reported rape every 13 minutes.
Maybe we should compare results, not buildings.

Kenya is among the only countries in the world where you get to pay for electricity infrastructure, in full and are told this is property of KPLC. KPLC then proceeds to bill you accordingly for consumption, without fail. We have accepted and normalised mediocrity for so long.
