7 figure hell is very real.
once you reach a $1-3 million net worth and invest it properly, you can live very comfortably off your passive income in most places.
you can basically live a worry-free life, but it’s still not enough to afford the kind of lifestyle that feels truly satisfying for you and your family.
you’re right at that point where you’ve kinda made it, but somehow not quite enough for the life you actually want.
the problem is that a +50% move in your portfolio barely changes your life.
while a -50% move sets you back massively.
i think it is the right move in this situation to go into capital preservation mode.
but sometimes i still think: should i just say FUCK IT and go all in one last time?
it’s tough not to try, knowing you have what it takes to trade a low 7 figure port into an 8 figure port quite easily.
but at the same time, you’ve lived through FTX and 10/10, and you know that one black swan can completely wipe your portfolio.
enough yapping, just wanted to talk about this inner demon i’ve been dealing with for a while.
