AI adoption is cheap. Organizational capability is not. The frontier isn’t ā€œmore agents.ā€ It’s a software factory where anyone can build, the best ideas propagate, experience compounds, and the machine starts noticing what nobody thought to ask.

The AI-pilled Software Factory

AI-pilled is not a vibe. It’s a factory. The most AI-pilled companies aren’t simply adopting AI or making their existing employees more productive. They are building software factories. I have spent

My mind is blown. I told my new personal AI to book an outdoor table at an exclusive new local restaurant. Problem was that the restaurant didn’t offer outdoor seating So it: - Filed for a zoning variance - Negotiated a sidewalk-use permit with the city - Commissioned architectural drawings - Hired a contractor - Ordered six bistro tables and twelve weather-resistant chairs - Responded to three neighborhood objections - Scheduled a city inspection - Convinced the restaurant to launch a patio menu - Planted decorative hedges to satisfy the historic district - Booked me a table for 7:30

biggest startup learning so far: ignore literally everything and everyone that is not immediately ultra critical to what the biggest problem is right now everything that feels like it's "probably super useful in 3 weeks" is completely useless, NEVER do it
Replying to @gabriel1
Any advise for someone just starting it out?

agent traces are the most important new input to a self-improving company. but a pile of traces doesn't improve anything on its own. the full loop takes three components: 1. a company brain - shared memory of what the team knows: decisions, context, the why behind the work 2. agent traces - the raw thought process: what every human and agent actually tried, what worked, what got thrown away 3. a learning loop - the missing piece at most companies: turning those traces back into better context, better skills, and better next runs most teams have some of 1 and are starting to accumulate 2. almost nobody has 3. the companies that close the loop get a little better every day, recursively.

I’m an optimist. I always believed things would succeed.Ā  Even when everyone else said my ideas were ridiculous.Ā  Even when we were almost out of money.Ā  Even when the metrics were all upside down.Ā  I always have confidence that I'll figure something out.Ā  That things are going to work out.

We just raised a $150M Series C at a $1.2B valuation led by Prysm Capital and co-led by @eurazeo. šŸ¦„ Two years ago we deployed one voice agent in a US freight broker. Today, we’ve deployed a full platform in over 150 enterprises globally across supply chain, energy and utilities, telecom, insurance and airlines. 5x growth since our Series B. Some of those incredible customers include @DHLGlobal , @Kuehne_Nagel, @Naturgy, @Repsol, and @Uber. We’re building Enterprise Superintelligence: the state where an organization's collective intelligence compounds as agents and humans learn from one another. And it starts by deploying your first agent. Much like that first agent we deployed two years ago. Thank you Prysm and Eurazeo. And to @a16z, @Base10Partners, and @ycombinator for doubling down. Thank you to the 200 @HappyRobot folks who worked so hard to make this happen. If you need us, we’ll be heads down, building a world where things just work. ā–¶ļø & Thank you to our strategic investors including including @DisruptiveKoch, @orange, T.Capital (@deutschetelekom), @Bankinter, @endeavor_global, @Kfundvc and Wave-X.

Competition tells you other companies serve the market. It does not tell you customers are satisfied. It does not tell you the experience is complete. It does not tell you the current standard is the best possible standard.

Just ordered our Breville Toaster. Thanks for the tip @eglyman
.@tobi removed all the Norman doors from Shopify’s offices because he couldn’t have excellent people surrounded by bad design. Ramp Cofounder @eglyman says he learned the same lesson by studying Breville toasters: ā€œā€ŠIf you care about design, you should buy a Breville toaster.ā€ ā€œā€ŠOne of the big problems in a lot of B2B software is: it starts out clean and elegant. There's a bunch of businesses who love the product and they start serving more customers and have more requirements and more ideas.ā€ ā€œBefore you know it, you end up with these disasters of B2B softwares which require a PhD to learn how to use.ā€ ā€œā€ŠIf you were to go ask people, ā€˜What do you want in a toaster or in a microwave?’ They might say I like toast but sometimes I want to reheat pizza. I should have a ā€˜reheat frozen pizza’ mode. Or maybe you're cooking stuff and want it to be more like an oven, or you want to make popcorn and it's a toaster/microwave and all these things.ā€ ā€œBefore you know it, you end up with these toasters filled with buttons and buttons and knobs and dials.ā€ ā€œThat is literally asking customers what they want and building exactly that.ā€ ā€œā€Šif you watch people toast things, what they actually do falls into two categories: you hit start and either you've undercooked the toast and need to put it back in, or you've overdone it and have to start over.ā€ ā€œIf you look at the [Breville] there are only a few buttons. One of the four buttons is called ā€˜A Bit More.ā€™ā€ ā€œā€ŠNo one would ask you for ā€˜A Bit More.’ They just want the perfect level of toast and it's hard to know that, so they built that in.ā€

The graveyard is full of people who wished they had taken action on that thing they wanted to do. ā€œIt’s too lateā€ has killed more dreams than a lack of talent or intelligence ever will. It’s never too late. The older I get, the more I realize you can reinvent yourself as many times as you need. New career. New standards. New habits. New mindsets. New people. It's never too late. You're never stuck. There are no fixed timelines for reinvention. No age restrictions. No maximum limit. You can change. Today, tomorrow, and as many times as it takes to create the life you want. Every time you think it’s too late, it’s probably still early.

One of my favorite pieces of advice is as a founder, imagine/plan for what happens when everything goes right.
VCs don't fund ideas. They fund stories about ideas. The best founders aren't pitching what the company does. They're pitching what the world looks like when it works.

Rob Goldstein gets it
Most investors focus on what they invest in. Few think about the infrastructure that makes investing possible. On this episode of The Bid #podcast, host Oscar Pulido speaks with Rob Goldstein, Chief Operating Officer at BlackRock, about how tokenization could reshape financial market infrastructure by creating digital representations of assets, expanding access to capital markets, and reducing friction across the investment ecosystem.
