Wonder if @finkd wants to take another stab at an in-home smart display and revive the Portal, except as a smart home hub powered by @Muse.
The long-rumored “Home Hub” from Apple is finally (supposedly) just around the corner, with Siri AI and App Intents being the prerequisite for its launch. @mattcassinelli has been right about this and it seems like release is imminent, at least based on @markgurman’s reporting.
Google’s brought Gemini to its Google Home lineup. Amazon has Alexa+. And it’s happening on the open-source/self-hosted side of things too. Look at @home_assistant, @openhome, etc.
Clearly, Zuck wants to build an ecosystem around Muse (he sad so, but it’d be apparent even if he’d not). The VR glasses, audio glasses, etc., plus Muse Charm, the iOS app, etc. I know trust has tanked in @Meta over the years, but does that really matter in consumer? Seems like it doesn’t, as people are flocking to the products.
Passing on another swing at a smart display, this time powered by @Muse, seems like a costly mistake/missed opportunity when Muse is clearly going to be at the center of all that Meta does for at least the next year or two, possibly longer.

Spacial intelligence and Open Home is not limited to the physical world. Devs are even putting Open Home into 3d worlds!
This summer i used the openhome's API Keys to make physical 3D characters. I thought to myself that this was just a random Ai smart speaker but seeing the whole system they provide, i thought to myself, why not develop a game of it? Same personalities now having a physical form.
