Her skin tone is probably the most common tone in India. Your Indian cinema is what portrays Indian people are some bleached white.
Whenever Netflix wants to portray an Indian character, they always seem to go for Tamil characters & often the most stereotypical looking ones. Even Tamil cinema wouldn’t cast them. It feels like Netflix is deliberately pushing a certain stereotype of what Indians look like.
