At the World Humanoid Robot Games in Beijing, humanoids competed across events designed to test speed, coordination, balance, and athletic performance.
For the jumping events, PrimeX 120W cameras provided the precision tracking needed to measure exactly how high they went. 🤖

We visited the Center for Animal Locomotion and Innovation (CALI) at UC Davis, where Professor Christina Harvey and her team of researchers use our IP66-rated VersaX120 motion capture cameras to digitize raptor flight — tracking wings, tails, and bodies with sub-millimeter precision across a 44-camera capture volume (plus 4 Prime Color cameras) — all synced with high sped video cameras using eSync.

We’re in beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia this week for the World Congress of Biomechanics! Stop by Booth 7 at #WCB2026 to see OptiTrack Duplex Mode in action: markerless body tracking and marker-based object tracking together, in real time, from the same cameras.
For this demo, we’re tracking two player skeletons without markers while simultaneously capturing the paddle and ball as tracked objects — all in one real-time workflow. All other mocap systems require separate cameras for markerless video and marker-based tracking. OptiTrack's Duplex Mode brings both together.
