What's your thoughts on Khvicha Kvaratskhelia? Tottenham are interested in him and from what I've seen he looks good

Victory in Moscow 10 years ago today. Sonny slotting one past Akinfeev in a fairly tight game. A game I was desperate to go to but couldn't due to school. My Dad & Grandad got me a pretty cool souvenir however.

Ranking select Tottenham strikers post (& alongside) Harry Kane: • Jermain Defoe (8/10) • Emmanuel Adebayor (6.5/10) • Roberto Soldado (3/10) • Clinton N'Jie (3/10) • Vincent Janssen (3/10) • Fernando Llorente (7/10) • Carlos Vinicius (5.5/10) • Richarlison (6.5/10) • Alejo Veliz (3/10) • Dominic Solanke (4/10) • Omar Marmoush *TBD* Not good enough at all. Especially since he left.

Is Llorente's rating inflated because of select big games in Europe? Maybe. Would Llorente have kept up that form starting as a regular at 35? Unlikely. But he was brought in as a cheap short term ready made backup that served his purpose. As opposed to the very large fees for Richarlison & Solanke who were also brought in with much more excitement & expectation.

Well done mate. Think you've just exposed yourself as the one who doesn't watch the championship. Acting like some hostile poverty stricken hellhole
The funniest part of City potentially playing Championship football is imagining the complete culture shock. Haaland asking where the Champions League anthem is and getting “Freed From Desire” through one working speaker at Deepdale. Cherki turning up expecting a perfectly watered carpet and finding a pitch that looks like it hosted a fucking agricultural show that morning. Doku discovering that Championship fullbacks don’t “show you outside” they show you the fucking car park. Anderson asking the analyst about expected possession while Millwall’s manager is drawing “FUCKING WIN IT” on the tactics board. Foden arriving for a 12:30 away game and watching some bloke behind the goal finish his sixth pint before warm ups. Maresca trying to explain inverted full backs to a fourth official who’s just told him to stop fucking moaning and get back in his technical area.

I don't know why he keeps using this "stat" about the top goalscorers like it's some damning indictment when it's 12 games across 2 different seasons with essentially 2 different squads. When De Zerbi came we said he had 2 jobs. He's done his first job by keeping us up in the final 7 games of last season. First 5 games of this season have been horrific but this is essentially De Zerbi's 5th game in charge. And if you think that's a load of rubbish & it really is his 12th game then you must acknowledge he has some credit in the bank by keeping us up in those final 7 games of last season🤷‍♂️

De Zerbi has not earned his long leash whatsoever. Only two players have scored more than 1 league goal in his tenure (Palhinha and Gallagher). Tudor being god awful (significantly worse than frank) gave De Zerbi a halo effect. Frank and RDZ aren’t far apart in quality. He needs to go.

@SpursOfficial family! 🐓 About a week left on this challenge, running 300km for @MindCharity ! Our current stats: 📍 216.54km ⛰️ 2,049.3m elevation ⏱️ 23h 57m running Thats like running from the @SpursStadium to Derby, with an elevation taller than Ben Nevis, or about 1x Gabriel #UCL penalty high Would really appreciate any shares, donations or Strava Kudos were possible But if anything, I hope Ive shown that to get out of a bad habit, you just need to show up for yourself, for 30 days #thfc #Coys #Spurs
Spurs Family, a new season means a new challenge! 🏃💨 With that, I am challenging myself to run 300km in September to raise money for @MindCharity. 10km every day, for 30 days. That is roughly the same as running from @SpursStadium to our second home, The Etihad, or running the length of the M1. I am hoping to raise £300, £1 for every KM. Any donation, no matter how big or small, would be hugely appreciated. Donate here: justgiving.com/page/nic-joan… And be sure to follow me on Strava and give me some Mohammed Kudos along the way.

Harder than it looks. Well, first 5 years is easy. Last 5 years is complete sludge
Saw this on TikTok and thought I’d give it a go What’s the best Liverpool team you can make, but the caveat is it’s one player per season for the last 11 seasons (16/17 - 26/27)

20/21 Lloris - Wasn't his prime but I actually thought was really good. Didn't really make many errors that COVID season & made that insane double save against Southampton. Plus I wanted to use other players for other seasons. 25/26 Porro - He wasn't great but who was last season. And at least his availability couldn't be questioned unlike half the squad. Think you can tell this was one of the last picks. 21/22 Romero - Debut season Romero when he still wore number #4. He was incredible. That double tackle against Leicester. 23/24 Van de Ven - Debut season Micky. He was class. 24/25 Spence - Another late pick as you can probably tell, but he was excellent when coming into the team from about December onwards. Right back playing left back is never ideal, especially in a team that's meant to be class but it was him or an injury plagued Udogie. 17/18 Dembele - Bossing Sergio Ramos at Wembley in the UCL. Probably the beginning of his physical decline but would still be a huge difference in this team. 26/27 Fernandes - He was last pick. Him or Tonali. Although Fernandes has been played out of position this season so far, I still back him to have a very strong season. 16/17 Dele - Prime Dele. Enough said. 18/19 Eriksen - He was actually so clutch this season. Towards the end I felt he was losing the heart but those first 7/8 months he was world class. 22/23 Kane - 30 league goals in a terrible team that came 8th. He was always going to be my 22/23 pick because he was genuinely our only good player that season barring Bentancur, and I don't want him in this team. 19/20 Son - Not even the best Sonny but it was just your typical Son season. Bags of goals. That winner at Villa Park, scoring at home to City. Similar reasoning to Kane that no one else really stood out in this season.

Was desperate to add the likes of Toby Alderweireld & Jan Vertonghen but it would take up 2 seasons where everyone was good, especially Dele & Dembele. And I want them in the team. And those specific versions of Romero & Van de Ven were actually very good.

I don't even know who I favour. The 3 B's all deserve their credit hence why they're basically the pioneers of this, as do Palace of course. Mid 2010's Southampton is a great shout. And Leicester deserve plaudits but not even the title winning side, but the prime Brendan Rogers era for me. Genuinely think my answer has to be 15/16 West Ham. Final season of Upton Park. Dimitri Payet on fire. Noble, Reid, Cresswell, Kouyate, Lanzini & Ogbonna. Even Andy Carroll was fit most of that season. What a side.

Look at the date they became our sponsor, ironically the beginning of our horror home record. Maybe they were the curse, and maybe we're finally free.
(🟢) Tottenham sponsor Sidiz have triggered an early termination clause to exit their partnership at the end of October after Spurs’ dire start to the season. @Matt_Law_DT

Attempt 3. Not bad
I built a game for @FourFourTwo – all you have to do is select an XI that has scored 442 goals in Premier League history. Lot of work went into this: should you keep you occupied for the long international break (or at the very least, your lunch break) fourfourtwo.com/quiz/442goal…
