Is the prayer meant for the UK or Nigeria? Because I don't understand why people are hosting prayers in a country that is already working. The UK doesn't need your prayers. Prayer didn't build the UK; good governance and effective institutions did.

IT IS GOVERNMENT OF THUGGERY, AND NOT DEMOCRACY In Delta state, the Commissioner for the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education, Dr. Kingsley Ashibogwu, who was sworn into office just in January, had an altercation with Mr Adeda Ekwevugbe, a Level 15 Deputy Director, Exams and Standards, in the same ministry. The Commissioner then ordered Mr Ekwevugbe to leave, but Mr Ekwevugbe said he can't leave because that is his place of work. Angry about his refusal, the Commissioner then called his 'THUGS' to beat up Ekwevugbe. He was tied up, seriously beating up, and locked up somewhere. When Mr Ekwevugbe was released, he was rushed to the hospital where he later died. Just imagine a Civil Servant being beaten up at his place of work to the point he lost his life as a result. The Delta State @PoliceNG have arrested one of the thugs, Lucky Adoh, while two others, Enos Attah and Oputa Oketsine are said to be on the run. Meanwhile, the Commissioner who asked them to beat up Mr Ekwevugbe is still walking freely and has not been arrested. I am wondering what the Delta state Police Commissioner, Samuel Etaifo Erale is trying to do here. I hope the IGP @TunjiDisu1 would take this matter up seriously. Some of you might not understand the danger of this matter. Imagine a Commissioner calling thugs to beat up a civil servant in a country that is trying to set up state police, just imagine what these state officials will do across the country with this authority in their hands. The issue of state police will be like the petrol subsidy removal. Everybody calling for it's removal without understanding the consequences. Today, they are all crying. This is not the first time Commissioners or top government officials in Delta state are beating people up like this in recent times. The Delta State government now has a reputation as government of thugs. Just last week, one of the thugs of the Commissioner for Environment, Moses Emokiniovo Egodo, who's video went viral recently crying after Oborevwori swore them in, almost beat up his official secretary just because the secretary insisted that he should complete the official visitors slip before seeing the Commissioner. Just few months earlier, another Commissioner, Izeze Reuben Rume, used thugs to beat up the protocol officer to the governor. The truth here is most of these their thugs will be recruited into the state police, and they will use them to beat even those of you calling for it. Just be careful what you ask for.
