The public just doesn’t get to see the price. Here’s where you come in. Tax exemptions leave these institutions with money they would otherwise owe. The public gives up that revenue because these hospitals serve a public purpose. That bargain deserves scrutiny when the hospital starts buying NFL advertising. Every dollar spent on a sponsorship is a dollar unavailable for patient care, financial assistance, or lowering bills. Maybe the advertising generates enough business to justify the expense. Then publish the numbers. Tell taxpayers what you spent, what you received, and how patients benefited. These institutions understand the commercial value of an NFL audience perfectly well. They also understand the financial value of being called a charity. The public deserves to know how much of its generosity ends up in professional football…

It's been two months since Ro Khanna, AOC, Ayanna Pressley, Summer Lee, and Jasmine Crockett said White people were hanging Black people from trees. All but one of the incidents were suicides. If your doctor or a family member’s doctor is an International Medical Graduate who cannot communicate clearly, appears unqualified, or leaves you feeling unsafe, take it seriously. This is not rare. Multiple states now allow provisional or fast-track licensing that lets foreign-trained physicians practice without completing a full U.S. residency. Some of those pathways have accepted questionable credentials. Communication problems are frequent. Hospitals and clinics often prefer these physicians because they cost less and follow protocols more readily than many U.S.-trained doctors. The result is a two-tier system. Miscommunication produces wrong diagnoses, medication errors, and avoidable complications. Documented cases of credential fraud and uneven training standards have already surfaced. Patient safety is being traded for lower labor costs and institutional compliance. What to do: Write everything down. Dates, times, exact statements or actions, names of people involved, and why the care felt unsafe. Save visit notes, lab results, and prescriptions. Clear records matter if you file a complaint. Write it down and stick to the record. If you cannot communicate with the person treating you, they cannot deliver real care. Look up the instructions that are given to a patient discharged after a cardiac event and honestly think about if someone with broken English could ever relay all the important information. **Where to report:** - Your State Medical Board (they control licenses and can investigate or revoke). At a candidate forum hosted last night by the Jewish Federation of Delaware, the Republican nominee running against Senator Chris Coons in Delaware, @drmikekatz, pushed for Republican Congressional nominee, Joe Arminio, who is running against @SarahEMcBride - a biological male, to be kicked off the forum for "misgendering" Mr. McBride. Arminio ended up having his mic muted, and was kicked off the forum. @drmikekatz is now calling for Arminio to drop out of his race against McBride.
