In 2001-2003 Oregon's budget was $34 Billion:
32% for education
25% for social programs
12% for infrastructure
12% for administration
6% for public safety
13% for everything else
The 2025-27 budget was $140 Billion, over four times higher:
18% for education
45% for social programs
7.5% for infrastructure
14% for administration
5% for public safety
10.5% for everything else
Focus on the money they are giving away: In 2001-03, Oregon spent $8.5 Billion, 25% of its budget, on social programs. In 2025-27, they are spending $62.7 Billion, 45% of the budget on social programs. That is 7 times as much and almost half the budget on handouts. The “Healthier Oregon” portion of the OHP spends $1.3 Billion and offers free medical for illegal migrants. They spent $60,000 on “homeless services” per homeless person in 2024, and the homeless count rose anyway.
Oregon schools fell to the bottom of the US reading and math scores. To fix the poor graduation rates, they passed a law that students don’t need to prove proficiency to graduate.
This doesn’t seem like they are addressing poverty or poor education; they are building an empire of permanent dependency with themselves in charge . With that their campaign strategy is, “Vote for us or the Republicans will take away your benefits!”
Kotek can’t blame Oregon’s money troubles on Trump. Democrats have controlled Oregon politics this whole time, even as the Federal government has flipped party control 5 times!

Alright friends, time for some real talk — and maybe a tiny splash of humor to keep us sane.
Back in 2022, Christine Drazan lost by fewer than 70,000 votes. Meanwhile, 120,000 registered Republicans stayed home (probably staring at ballots sitting on kitchen tables next to cold coffee and half‑finished grocery lists). And to top it off, a third‑party candidate scooped up 168,000 votes.
Fast‑forward to 2026:
This time, the only third‑party candidate is a problem for Democrats, not us.
And this time, we are NOT leaving 120,000 GOP ballots abandoned like sad leftovers.
We’ve launched a statewide effort — GOTVOregon.com — and we’re building an army of 1,000+ volunteers to chase ballots during the final 72 hours of the campaign. Yes, an army. No camouflage required.

They’re going to distract with every Trump thing they can. What they won’t do is self reflect.
They’re doing a “No Trump in Oregon” tour because they can’t do a “look at our record” tour.
Trump isn’t on the ballot.
Your party has run this state for decades.
Portland didn’t fill up with tents because of MAGA.
The DPO didn’t take $500k in FTX money, get fined, and have to give it back because of MAGA.
Centene didn’t write Kotek a check after Oregon said that company “took advantage” of us because of MAGA.
SEIU didn’t dump $400k on her after voters smashed their gas tax 83-17 because of MAGA.
And they sure didn’t decouple Oregon from Trump’s tax relief because they love working people.
They passed SB 1507 so the state could claw back hundreds of millions.
Car loan interest.
Small business stock.
Bonus depreciation for shops buying equipment.
Kotek signed it.
Businesses begged her not to.
She even admitted it could hurt Oregon’s competitiveness.
Then they hit the road screaming MAGA.
If Drazan was the emergency you wouldn’t need a statewide roadshow about a guy who isn’t even running here.
This isn’t a press tour. It’s a distraction tour.
People can see what’s happening with their own eyes.

Oregon’s still a mess and Tina Kotek wants four more years. That’s the joke.
She walked in day one, declared a homelessness emergency, and promised 36,000 new homes a year. Production never got close. Unsheltered people are still everywhere. The 2025 count still showed tens of thousands homeless and more than 16,000 unsheltered. She added shelter beds and press releases. The streets didn’t get the memo.
Jobs? Private-sector growth near the bottom of the country. Unemployment stuck above the national rate. Paychecks growing at half the national pace. Her own Prosperity Council basically said the state is sliding and she needs to signal we’re open for business. High taxes, a brutal estate tax, and more regulation. People and companies notice.
Schools? Near the bottom nationally. NAEP scores lag. Kids still aren’t proficient. More money went in. Results did not.
Then the office drama: staffers warning about using the governor’s office for her wife, paid scheduler, aides walking out. A judge struck down her union-labor mandate as illegal. Agency after agency blows up and she fires people after the scandal hits the paper.
Crime in Portland finally came down from the worst years. That happened *despite* years of failure, not because the big problems got solved.
She’s been governor almost four years. The same crises she ran on are still here. Re-electing her is choosing more of the same and hoping the next press conference fixes it.
Oregon deserves better than another term of this.
We must come together and vote Drazan. A vote for anyone else is a vote for Kotek.
