Chabad is not a Jewish organization, it is a Kabbalistic organization with Jewish trappings. It reveres the Talmud, The Zohar and the Tanya way more than the Torah. The only difference between Chabad and the Sabbateans is that the Sabbateans eschewed the Law (Halacha / 613 Mitzvot) while Chabad continued to adhere to it. They are completely aligned on everything else because they are both interpretations of Lurianic Kabbalah and the Zohar.
