The truth is, nobody forced us to buy this coin. It was our own decision. Until we accept that.

I’ve been comparing $BASECAT, $MRMIGGLE and $KEYCAT, and the interesting part is how differently they built their pumps.
$KEYCAT started from a very low valuation, then the meme caught on, the community took over, and the market slowly started rerating it.
$MRMIGGLE had a different advantage. The Miggles/Coinbase connection gave it a stronger narrative, which brought more attention, community growth and eventually a much higher valuation.
Then there’s $BASECAT.
It started with a low FDV, but once the Base community started paying attention, liquidity came in quickly. That created momentum, then FOMO, and the FDV expanded extremely fast.
What I find interesting is that all three basically followed the same cycle:
Low FDV → attention → liquidity → momentum → FOMO → massive rerating.
The difference is what triggered the attention:
$KEYCAT = meme + community
$MRMIGGLE = narrative + brand
$BASECAT = Base culture + momentum + FOMO
That’s why I think comparing their launch FDV and the way they reached their peak valuations is much more interesting than just looking at their ATHs.

I’ve been looking at Base’s user activity since launch, and the growth is honestly crazy.
@base started with around 74K monthly active addresses and eventually hit 34.6M at its peak.
Now it’s back around 6M.
I think a big part of the drop is pretty simple: the crazy memecoin season, airdrop farming, and speculative activity cooled off.
But that also makes the next phase more interesting.
Can Base turn all that temporary attention into users who actually stick around?

Today's @base outage was caused by a block production issue, not a hack or security breach. An invalid block triggered a consensus problem, temporarily stopping the network from producing new blocks for over two hours. The Base team resolved the issue by restarting and resynchronizing nodes, restoring normal operations. They confirmed that user funds remained safe and that the outage was not directly caused by the scheduled Beryl upgrade.
